When I do affiemations I like to put "Thank you for I am..." infront of the affirmation I want to say, as it puts you in an apprecitative frame of mind and this makes you feel good. An affirmation should be said but more importantly felt from the heart/stomach - thats what makes it work, rather than just being uttered as rote jibberish!
