Here I go again. It's 9:30am and I need to get my butt out of the house! Only one problem! I haven't called anyone to make the appointments that I promised myself I would for today. At this point I have two choices. 1. Get in my car and do "drop in" sales calls. 2. Sit here and agonize over why I didn't make the appointments.
Which is the better choice? Usually by 11am I will have decided to choose option 1. Then do it all over again the next day, and the next day, and the next day...... This brings me to my question. What's wrong with doing the "drop in"? These aren't cold calls, they are existing client relationships. If I called to make an appointment they would probably wonder what was wrong. Right? Does this make sense or am I justifying my lack of ability to plan better?
What do you think? Where do you stand on the issue? Do you have any tips or advise that you can share with me?
