While being a road rep is a trade - just like learning to build homes or fixing a car – except for the fact that only a very small percentage of the population can do it well. Not everyone is cut out for life on the road. It takes a special drive and determination to be successful in this line of work. That’s because 99% of the job is mental and just showing up doesn’t cut it.Being mentally “on” all the time is exhausting. Most reps have problems getting up in the morning and getting out of the house at one time or another.
